honestly, not particularly. fandom!luke seems to have two interpretations : completely dark, or typical hermes kid stoll-type luke. & whilst i agree that yes both these interpretations are fine & valid, they do not represent luke as a whole & complete character. he is incredibly complex & part of the reason i’m so angry at rick riordan is that he demonises this boy ; a boy genuinely trying to do what is right. & of course whatever the author says is gold, right? so therefore if they say a character is a) a demon b) unimportant c) merely a catalyst for something else d) whatever the fuck else people could say about luke, then that means the fandom will ( often ) latch on & agree without interpreting the character themselves ( i’m not saying riordan has said these things at all, & i made a gifset once of luke mentions in hoo because i was honestly so happy that it was clear luke had made an impact on percy & annabeth & others, & that he hadn’t just been dropped & forgotten. )

what i’m trying to say is that fandom!luke is too much one or the other, & he needs to be both - often at the same time. i also think he’s a character that gets shafted to the sidelines & that frustrates me because he’s such an interesting character to explore that i’m stunned i seem to be the main one, you know?
