STUPID OBSERVATION — times square’s different every five minutes. but this time it’s different due to the redhead on the billboards. problem with being stuck at a summer camp on long island year round, with no access to the outside world ? you tend to miss out on POP CULTURE. she’s hot, though — seriously hot —, & if he wasn’t here to, you know, DO A JOB, he might even consider trying to find out who she is. but he is, so he won’t. he ducks into a deli nearby, emerging moments later with a black-&-white cookie clutched in his hand ( boy’s gotta eat, TRAITOR or no ). he’s making his way through times square again, headed towards grand central station, when a gaggle of people encumbered by cameras & lighting get in his way, forcing him to pause. GREAT. A PHOTOSHOOT. rolls his eyes before he notices then that the model is the very same girl on the billboards. how about that. . . . maybe he can wait a few minutes — it’s not like he’s the only passerby stopping to watch, anyway.}

CANON

act i - traitorless.

luke never acted on his thoughts of betrayal ; the five-year-long battle between he, his friends, & the deities never happened ... but kronos did. luke is balancing his life at camp half blood with the outside force that is the titan kronos. secretly, luke is tormented, fighting his own battle, & has been for years. but he hasn't given in ; not yet. he's family to think about.

act ii - renewed.

luke died when he stabbed himself that fateful day, but so too did everyone's hatred of him. the gods made peace with their demigod children, & new cabins were built at camp half blood. everything was fine - until luke appeared again. a bargain made between hermes & hades, luke was given another shot at life ; at redemption. he knows the trouble he's caused ; knows nothing will be the same, & he's plagued endlessly with the guilt of all the deaths he's caused. but he's trying. he's trying to be the person that annabeth always knew he was.

act iii - forgiven

luke's final act was kronos' undoing, but it wasn't his. the demigod didn't die but instead merely banished kronos back to the depths of tartarus from which he came. luke spent a long while trying to piece together the damage he had caused ( a lot of which he couldn't remember ) & eventually he was allowed back in camp as though nothing had happened - something he's grateful for. he's back to being his old self: hurting still, of course, but no longer as angry as he used to be. he's luke ; camper, counselor ( the stolls were happy to give him back his role ) & forgiven traitor.

act iv - troubled.

follows the events of the lightning thief, showing luke's life preparing for his betrayal whilst percy's quest is ongoing.

act v - ruined.

follows the sea of monsters, the the titan's curse & the battle of the labyrinth. shows luke's slow descent into absolute possession, as well as all the internal thoughts riordan never showed.

act vi - hell-bound.

follows the events of the last olympian, where luke is not luke but merely a physical vessel for kronos' spirit.

act vii - stirring.

hows luke's life from his immediate arrival at camp, to just before percy's own arrival. deals with luke's feelings of neglect, & how kronos preyed on that.

act viii - reborn.

luke did say he was going to try for rebirth thrice over &then the isle of the blessed. is applicable at any time during any 3 of his rebirths.

act ix - regained.

brought back purely for help during percy's disappearance, luke not only has to gain everyone's trust once more, but he also has to show his worth, & see the calamity that a war can bring on - even one that happens between two opposing camps of demigods. he is firmly camp half blood, but will he be accepting of those from camp jupiter, or will he be prejudiced?

act x - harry potter

luke is a sixth-year slytherin ; not a pureblood, but he's so charming that people tend to forget how he is the product of a pureblood male consorting with a destitue & mentally unstable muggle woman.& it is very much something luke doesn't want people to remember. he doesn't want others knowing that his father left at the first possible moment ; doesn't want anyone drawing parallels between him & another not-so-pure slytherin. he's both keeper & captain of the quidditch team, & highly skilled at it. if all goes well, he could turn professional after hogwarts.

act xi - marvel/mcu

luke isn't the first troubled teen xavier's school has taken in, & he certainly won't be the last. with powers that allow him to speak any language at all, & to open any locked device, he spends a lot of his times eavesdropping & causing mischief where possible. but he is still susceptible to magento's ideology, & when left alone with his thoughts, tends to find himself wondering about who he really believes in ; who is right. can mutants & humans really live side-by-side, or is it time for the mutants to stand up & have their time in the light?
